- I have over 25 years of professional experience creating technical, graphic and computer art.
- Early in my career, I created technical illustration and graphic design for companies such as Control Data Corp., IBM, Lawrence Livermore Labs and Ford Aerospace, while studying fine, technical and graphic art in college.
- An avid fan of both console and computer games, I began my career developing graphics and animations for games in the fall of 1988 with Strategic Simulations, Inc.
- At SSI, I was a Lead Artist on several A titles and was part of one team spearheading the development of SSIs next-generation game engine for use in new title development.
- Always looking for innovative technology, I helped introduce the first version of 3D Studio to the SSI Art Department and helped establish SSI as an early 3D Studio Beta site.
- Following SSI, I worked freelance on a variety of 2d games for Accolade, Twin Dolphin Games and Electronic Arts.
- In 1994 I teamed up with Ken Nicholson at Media Vision to Art Direct a new internal multimedia group to create games to both feature and drive new technology.
- I rejoined Ken Nicholson when the group moved to ATI Technologies to develop fast interactive games for Windows. Along with the Game Consortium, this group helped influence the development of Microsofts Direct X.
- Following ATI, I worked as a freelance artist with a variety of companies creating both 2d and 3d graphics and animation.
- Beginning in 2000, I worked with Quarium, Inc. on a variety web and console localization projects for Electronic Arts while beginning research on a massively multi-player online game.
- In 2002, Nautilus Games was formed and I stayed with the group to continue research and development of a massively multi-player game while producing art for an online puzzle game.
